2013 Camps

We know how much our Guides love camping and we are in the early planning stage for the following:

Way to Go Indoor Camping (A State Junior Guide event) 5th – 7th July

Some of our more confident Junior Gumnut Guides ( who are happy to sleep away from home) may be able to participate in the state ‘Way To Go Indoor Camping event’ in the July Holidays in Kootingal. At this stage we don’t have any details but will let you know as soon as possible. We may need a mum to help to accompany Blue Wren and assist with transporting the Guides (depending on the numbers) Please let Blue Wren know if your Guide is interested and if you are prepared to join us.

Waratah Guide Outdoor Camp 22nd – 24th September

After training at the end of last year Blue Wren is preparing her first Outdoor camp which will be at Kootingal, just out of Tamworth. The program will be worked out in partnership with the Waratah Guides – with sleeping in tents, patrol cooking and most importantly fun!
